Privacy policy

Protecting your data matters to us. This page explains which personal data we process when you visit this website or send us an enquiry (Art. 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, GDPR).

2. Visiting the website

When you open the website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the website and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Enquiries by form, email, phone or WhatsApp

When you contact us, we process the details you give us: name, email address, travel dates, number of guests and your message. We use them only to answer your enquiry and send you an offer (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Without these details we cannot process your enquiry.

The WhatsApp button opens a chat on WhatsApp (WhatsApp Ireland Limited). WhatsApp’s own privacy policy applies to communication there. If you prefer, you can reach us by email or phone.

4. Booking and stay

If you book with us, we process the data needed to perform the contract and to meet legal obligations, such as registering guests with the public security authorities, the local tourist tax and tax record keeping (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).

5. Cookies

This website uses technically necessary cookies, for example to remember your cookie choice. Our website provider Hostinger also runs a platform analysis (the “Amplitude” service) that records usage data without identifying you directly. This analysis only runs if you agree in the cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can change your choice by deleting this website’s cookies in your browser; the banner will then appear again.

6. Google Maps

The home page and the contact page include a map from Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited). When the map loads, your IP address is sent to Google; Google may set cookies and may also process data in the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing you how to find us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

7. Recipients

Your data is shared only with service providers we need to run the business: Hostinger International Ltd., Cyprus (hosting of the website and transmission of form data), our email provider, and public authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell data or pass it on for advertising.

8. Storage period

We delete enquiries that do not lead to a booking after twelve months at the latest. Data relating to bookings and invoices is kept for as long as tax and civil law require, usually ten years.

9. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time. To do so, write to info@renzler.it. You can also lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome, www.garanteprivacy.it.

10. Automated decisions

We do not make automated decisions and do not carry out profiling.
